What you walk
Seven hours of medium-difficulty trekking with total elevation of ~500 metres. The route starts in the historic centre, climbs to the Castle through the Barons’ palaces, drops along the path around the cliff, and reaches the rock dwellings carved into stone — FAI Heart Places candidates.
The CAI guide narrates landscape, geology, archaeology. Three hours climbing, one for lunch, three down with panoramic stops.
