Who it's for

Experienced European hikers (especially German, Austrian, French, British) who have already walked Camino de Santiago, the Dolomites, the Corsican GR20. They are looking for lesser-known destinations with strong cultural narrative and reliable services.

The flagship product

24 Barons Trail

Three days of cultural trekking between Nicosia, Sperlinga and Cerami. Stages 15-18 km/day, total elevation +800/-700 m. Komoot-certified GPX tracks, CAI Sicilia signage, agriturismo overnight, daily luggage transfer.

A 5-day version is also offered, including wider Nebrodi and a rest day at Sperlinga. For pricing and availability contact the partner operators.

Practical

Difficulty, season, gear

  • Difficulty: CAI E (medium hiking). For regular walkers, not absolute beginners.
  • Season: April-June + September-November. Summer not recommended (heat + lack of shade in some sections).
  • Gear: hiking boots, 25-35 L pack, light rain jacket, 1.5 L bottle, GPS or Komoot app with tracks loaded.
  • Language: CAI Sicilia bilingual Italian + English. German and French on request with a dedicated guide.
  • San Felice Trail: pilgrimage organised by the Friars Minor Capuchins of Nicosia — to be contacted directly.
