Closing of the outdoor season with a weekend dedicated to those who walked the Nebrodi of Nicosia during the year. Saturday short stage to Acqua Santa with a CAI guide, awards for 18 walkers who completed the 24 Barons Trail, convivial dinner at a partner agriturismo. Sunday optional walk to the Sambughetti beech woods.

A good way to close the season

The Trail Closing Feast wraps up Nicosia’s outdoor season. The format is simple: a short stage in the morning (~10 km, gentle elevation), awards for those who completed the 24 Barons Trail in the year, trail dinner at an agriturismo in the evening.

Saturday programme:

  • 9 am gather in Piazza Garibaldi.
  • 9:30 am short stage start (Nicosia – Acqua Santa – return).
  • 1 pm light lunch in the square.
  • 5 pm closing ceremony.
  • 7:30 pm trail dinner at the agriturismo (separate booking).
