"Make Your Own Mozzarella" workshop

Three hours at the dairy. Children (and curious adults) make mozzarella with their hands, under the cheese-maker's guidance. You leave with your mozzarella.

For children, and for those who stay children

The workshop is the hands-on version of the visit: instead of watching the cheese-maker, you work with him. Three hours of:

  • warming and first shaping of the curd;
  • stretching and shaping mozzarella;
  • a small personal output (50-80 grams);
  • final tasting of your own product.

The workshop is for children 7-14 with an adult, but adults on their own are welcome. No prior experience needed.

Practical

  • Duration: 3 hours. Capacity: groups up to 8.
  • When: Saturday morning, by booking.
  • Pricing and availability: contact the operator directly.
  • Language: Italian + English.
  • What to bring: closed shoes and willingness to get dirty.

You leave with the mozzarella you produced, in a cool-box. Consume within 24 hours.
