The building
Palazzo di Città is Nicosia’s historic town hall, a civil building in the historic centre overlooking the main square. It hosts the municipal representation and the main administrative services.
Architecture & role
The building shows the civil architecture of the historic centre: restrained façade, monumental entrance, framed windows. Together with the other palaces of the centre, it contributes to the compact street front of Nicosia.
