The White Night of the 24 Barons is Nicosia’s flagship summer music event. The historic-centre squares become natural stages for DJ sets and electronic music. The reference audience is 18-35-year-olds from surrounding provinces (Catania, Enna, Caltanissetta, Palermo).
Programme, line-up and capacity are defined annually by the organisers and published on the official event channels.
Vivi Nicosia is an editorial platform and does not sell tickets. Prices, pre-sale and purchasing channels are published each year by the White Night organisers when ticketing opens.
To reduce centre-city traffic and lower the access barrier, in recent years the organisers have run dedicated shuttles from Catania, Enna, Caltanissetta and Palermo. Times, routes and fares are published by the organisers when ticket sales open.
The historic centre of Nicosia at night is a natural stage: stepped squares, stone façades, stairways climbing to the Castle, urban scenography unavailable elsewhere. The White Night also exists to photograph the city well at night: visual curation is part of the format.
Food and beverage area in collaboration with local producers: 24 Baroni Brewery, Albereto Dairy, partner agriturismi.
The event runs with an emergency plan coordinated with Red Cross, fire brigade and law enforcement, following standard procedures for major public events in the historic centre.
