Football inside the feast
On Monday 24 August 2026, at 6:00 pm, the Stefano La Motta sports ground hosts Un Amichevole per S. Felice: a friendly football match between Nicosia and Mistretta. It is not a league fixture but an appointment within the feast, scheduled for the days in which the town celebrates its saint.
Two mountain towns
Nicosia and Mistretta face each other from either side of the Nebrodi, linked by the same road through the woods. Meeting on a pitch at the end of August is, above all, a way of putting two communities in touch that rarely cross paths for the rest of the year.
